Need a new routine to add to your #SundayFunday? Try some of these facemasks, which you probably already have the ingredients for in your fridge or lying around at home.

It’s always important before applying any facemask to open up your pores first. Try placing a hand towel in warm water, then squeeze out enough water so the towel isn’t dripping and finally place the towel over your face, or pat your face with it for 3-5 minutes. This prep step will allow the DIY facemask to work more effectively.

#1 Banana ACV Mask
Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) is known to help heal acne and skin blemishes, while tightening up the skin. Bananas are very moisturizing for the skin and help in relieving wrinkles and fine lines; many in the beauty world call bananas the natural Botox!

What you’ll need:
1/2 small banana, mashed
2 tablespoons ACV
1 teaspoon raw honey
2 tablespoons yoghurt

Combine all the ingredients in a bowl. Apply a thin layer to your face then relax for up to 20 minutes. Rinse the mask off with warm water, and then apply your favorite moisturizer.

#2 Honey Yogurt Mask
This DIY facemask cleanses, brightens, and moisturizes your skin. It is great for those who suffer from acne. The benefit of honey is double, it is soothing and also antibacterial.

What to do:
Combine 2 tablespoons of yogurt with 2 tablespoons of raw honey.
Once everything is combined well, spread the mask over your face and neck and relax for up to 20 minutes. Rinse the mask off with warm water, and then apply your favorite moisturizer.

#3 Nutmeg, Honey and Cinnamon Mask
In addition to its amazing scent this mask is also calming and soothing for stressed-out skin. Nutmeg and honey act as natural anti-inflammatories, which can reduce swelling and redness in skin. They’re also great for soothing acne scars and preventing infection.

What to do:
2 tablespoons of honey
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1 teaspoon of nutmeg.
After it’s all mixed, apply the mask to your face and let it sit for 30 minutes. Wash it off with warm water, scrubbing softly in circular motion for exfoliation.
