Spring into the season’s fashion

You’ve set your clock back for daylight savings time, now it is time to think ahead to shopping for spring clothing you love.

Spring is when you can break out anything white you had away for winter, things that leave your legs bare and lighter materials. Replace boots with sneakers, wear sunglasses and anything else that puts you in the mood for longer days and more sunshine.

We wanted to share a few outfits that inspired our team, see if they do the same for you!

Did you know that only 10% of the clothes people donate to thrift stores gets sold and the ones that don’t go to landfills?! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I use to be the type to want to participate in wearing the latest trends for fear of missing out but, realizing what fast fashion is doing to OUR planet, has changed my mindset. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Since going vegan 3 years ago, I’ve made a pledge to buy less and wear more by taking active steps in limiting my fast fashion consumption. Instead, I opt to shop at thrift stores, closet swaps and recently I started renting pieces thanks to #RTRunlimited if ever I need an outfit for an event or if I wanna just stunt for the ‘gram. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I like that I have a revolving closet of clothes that are not only trendy, but WAYYY more affordable than buying the actual designer pieces. And the best thing is that once I’ve gotten what I want out of each piece, I can just return for another one….and another one! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Buying less and wearing more is where it’s at sis!
