Silver, copper and other metal items once polished, can be rubbed with olive oil to prevent streaks and tarnish. Also by placing a few drops of olive oil on a soft cloth, you can clean dust, scuffs and fingerprints from wooden objects such as desks, chairs or coffee tables. Finally you can also condition and revitalize your leather goods such as purses or briefcases, by rubbing in olive oil. Let the oil set for about 30 minutes, then wipe away any excess with a soft cloth.
